The Defence Committee will hold an evidence session on the UK’s contribution to European security at 10.30am, on Tuesday 1 April. The Committee will speak to academic experts Professor Sir Lawrence Freedman and Dr Alexandra de Hoop Scheffer

The Women and Equalities Committee (WEC) will hear from business experts and academics during the first evidence session of its female entrepreneurship inquiry in Parliament on Wednesday, 2 April.

In January, the Government announced that Tom Crowther KC would develop a framework for locally led, victim centred, inquiries into child sexual exploitation. He chaired the Independent Inquiry into Telford Child Exploitation between 2019 and 2022.

Growth, welfare reforms and health plus international affairs and defence will feature in the Liaison Committee session with Sir Keir Starmer MP ahead of the Easter recess.

The Modernisation Committee is to conduct a public evidence session which will hear from MPs with disabilities.

Greater Manchester Mayor Andy Burnham will be among the witnesses when the House of Commons Work and Pensions Committee holds a public evidence session in Manchester Town Hall as it continues its inquiry into reforming Jobcentres.

The Health and Social Care Select Committee will examine the current gambling landscape and the potential for harms caused by developments in gambling products in a one-off oral evidence session at 9.30am on Wednesday 2 April.
