Lords marks 80th anniversary of victory in Europe and Japan

Members of the House of Lords will mark the 80th Anniversary of Victory in Europe and Victory Over Japan, in a debate on Friday 9 May.

Lord Coaker (Labour), Minister of State at the Ministry of Defence, will put forward the debate.

- Lord Wallace of Saltaire (Liberal Democrats), former deputy director of the Royal Institute of International Affairs, Chatham House.
Baroness Twycross (Labour), Minister for Heritage at the Department for Culture, Media and Sport, will respond on behalf of the government.
