Questions
The Lords quizzed the government on steps to tackle knife crime, ensuring the police act proportionately in stop and search, reducing pupil absenteeism, waiting lists for mental health care, and the increased risk of wildfires caused by climate change.
Bills
Members continued to check and change the Renters' Rights Bill and Employment Rights Bill, debated the key principles of the Sentencing Guidelines (Pre-sentence Reports) Bill, and 'tidied up' the Property (Digital Assets etc) Bill.
Debates
The elimination of antisemitism on university campuses, plus the 80th Anniversary of Victory in Europe and Victory Over Japan were on the agenda.
Committees
- The Communications and Digital Committee spoke to experts at Google, TikTok and Roblox as part of its inquiry on media literacy.
- With academics from the University of Oxford, University of Cambridge and the Diplomatic Academy, Vienna, the International Agreements Committee looked at how to make treaty scrutiny more effective.
- The Home-based Working Committee continued its inquiry by hearing from experts at Network Rail, Transport for London, and Transport for Manchester.

Orders and regulations
The Lords debated genetic technology and a 'motion to regret' the regulations put forward by Baroness Bennett of Manor Castle. The motion to regret was not agreed.

- legal aid for domestic abuse
- VE Day licensing hours
- Cornwall Council regulations
- East Midlands adult education
- York and North Yorkshire adult education
- onshore wind and solar generation
