Members of the House of Lords concluded line by line examination of the Armed Forces Commissioner Bill during the final day of committee stage on Monday 24 March.

The Armed Forces Commissioner Bill aims to establish, and confer functions on, the Armed Forces Commissioner, and abolish the office of the Service Complaints Ombudsman.

Line by line checks

Committee stage is a thorough examination of the individual parts (clauses) of the bill.

  • whistleblowing
  • the Armed Forces Commissioner.
