Rt Hon Lucy Powell MP, Chair of the Modernisation Committee and Leader of the House of Commons, comments on the launch of the Standards Committee’s new inquiry into MPs outside interests.

The Committee on Standards is inquiring into whether there should be changes to the rules relating to outside interests and employment in the Code of Conduct for Members of Parliament.
