1.  PARLIAMENTARY SECURITY DIRECTOR

The Commission agreed that a full-time Parliamentary Security Director should be appointed in place of the part-time Parliamentary Security Coordinator, subject to agreement by the House of Lords, and that further work should be carried out on the administrative arrangements for the post.

2.  OUTSTANDING DEBTS (MEC)

The Committee agreed, for reasons of proportionality, to write off the debt of £500 owed to the House by Lorna Fitzsimons, a former Member, in connection with the review of past ACA payments.

3.  LETTER FROM THE CHAIR OF THE LIAISON COMMITTEE

The Commission discussed the letter of 24 October from the Chair of the Liaison Committee and agreed its response.

4.  DATE OF NEXT MEETING

The next meeting of the Commission/MEC will take place on Monday 12 December at 4.30 pm in Speaker's House.
