1. FREEDOM OF INFORMATION PUBLICATION (MEC)
The Committee noted with approval that the work on redaction of receipts was continuing.
2. STAFF PAY NEGOTIATIONS
The Commission reconsidered the pay remit.
3. 25 YEAR ESTATES STRATEGY
The Commission took note of the paper.
4. APPOINTMENT TO AUDIT COMMITTEES (Commission and MEC)
The Commission and Committee agreed to appoint Alex Jablonowski as an external member of the Administration Estimate Audit Committee and the Members Estimate Audit Committee for three years.
5. ANY OTHER BUSINESS (Commission/MEC)
Cleaning contract
The Commission noted the latest position.
Facilities for Unite
The Commission noted that, although recognition of Unite as representing Members' staff was not possible, the matter of Unite sharing facilities had been resolved.
Insurance for official visits to war zones
The Commission referred the matter of insurance for Members and staff on official visits to war zones to the Finance and Services Committee.
Pension arrangements for collectively-employed staff
The Committee referred the matter of pension arrangements for collectively-employed staff to the Finance and Services Committee.
6. FUTURE MEETINGS
The Commission agreed to meet on Mondays 26 January, 2 March, 30 March, 11 May, 8 June, 29 June and 20 July.
7. NEXT MEETING
The next meeting of the Commission/MEC will take place at 5pm on Monday 15 December in Speaker's House.
